In celebration of National Arts & Humanities Month (October), the Office of Cultural Affairs has challenged the public to get outside, see, photograph, and share some of the city’s public art. The participants had to find 4 selected artworks in Virginia Beach from the Rudee Loop to the ViBe District using a Google map. Each artwork on the map had a photo prompt, and participants were asked to post to our Facebook or Instagram pages, tag the photos, #VBPublicArtTour. Brian Duncan of Virginia Beach had the best collection of tagged photos, and received a wonderful prize package from arts groups and businesses around the Public Art Tour Challenge; including two tickets to see a play at the Little Theatre of Virginia Beach, two admission tickets to MOCA, Chesapeake Bay Distillery tasting tickets for four, and jar of coffee from Fathom Coffee, and more! Check out Brian's photos!
